Inside Sales Representative

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
• Understand customer needs and requirements
• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
• Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
• Research and develop new markets, identify key players, and generate leads
• Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
• Perform effective online demos to prospective customers
• Working closely with the Project Management team to maintain a high-level of internal and external interaction.
• Consult with clients, vendors, and personnel in other departments to discuss/formulate estimates.
• Confer with engineers on change orders and adjustments to cost estimates
• 40% of time devoted to estimating, learning UTF process, products, and capabilities
• 60% of time devoted to inside sales functions
• Attend product shows when directed
• Travel with VP of Sales on occasion to visit regional accounts
• Provide weekly sales reports on customer calls and activity

Qualifications:
• Proven inside sales experience
• Track record of over-achieving quota
• Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
• Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong listening and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• BA/BS degree or equivalent
• Experience with the following would be beneficial but not required:
o ASME Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, API and other steel and stainless-steel tanks
o Welding and metal fabrication

Long Term Goal (1 to 2 years):
• Assume full time outside sales responsibilities with regional and national travel 50% time
• Provide inside sales and estimating support along with listed Duties & Responsibilities
